A convention by nerds, for nerds!

ConGregate is a completely volunteer run, science fiction convention (conference), held in the Triad region of NC. We host a fair amount of interactive programming, in addition to traditional programming (panel discussions, concerts, cosplay, short film festival, and charity auction). The nature of our con allows fans an opportunity to interact directly with the guests and other fans. In other words, we offer a lot more than just a large exhibit hall filled with vendors and guests.

We are pleased to announce that our Short Film Festival will return for a 5th year!

Each year, Congregate remembers contributors that we have lost from the science fiction and fantasy world. The tradition began in memory of Aaron Allston, who was well known for his love of Hawaiian shirts. We encourage everyone to wear a Hawaiian shirt on Friday of the con.

At ConGregate, we pride ourselves in trying to provide an inclusive environment, and fully support all guests, fans, and vendors, equally, regardless of race, color, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, disability, physical appearance, body size, age, religion, or national origin.
